S.F. traffic noise risks health of 1 in 6

Found by Derek (my brother), sfgate reports:

"Noise from traffic is putting nearly 1 in 6 San Francisco residents at risk for heart disease, high blood pressure and other stress-related illnesses, city public health officials have found..."

I find the line that anything above 65 dB puts people at risk of noise related health problems a bit suspect. Noise ordinance to reduce to that level sounds excessive, especially for such an urban environment. I'll tell you what's not noise pollution.....rock and roll.

if not that noise, maybe grad skill will bring your blood pressure up along with your likelihood of acquiring other stress-induced illnesses =P.
