I always enjoy when copyright infringement cases pop up in the media. It lets you be the judge. This one is Joe Satriani accusing Coldplay for stealing his work. Listen to Satriani first then Coldplay. What do you think? I think the melody is pretty similar - I side with Satch. I might be a little bias: I grew up listening to Satch and always thought Coldplay was a little douchey...but that's another story...

G-Money! You're damn right! Coldplay IS douchey, and they ripped off Satch! This isn't the first time they've been accused of stealing melodies...look it up.
