Hats off to Tim Lincecum for winning the 2008 National League Cy Young award. It's been a long time coming - The last San Francisco Giant to win this prestigious award was Mick McCormick in 1967. Lincecum was trully dominant this season posting the league's best in strikeouts and winning percentage. Arguably, setting him apart from the other potential candidates may have been his delivery swag and impressionable young looks.Other great news for the hurler: Lincecum will grace the upcoming cover of MLB 2K9.
