Pascal, the running guru himself, is in town. He accompanied me for Green Laking today offering me some insightful training tips for my ultimate "half" race in May. For kicks, I tried out his heart rate monitor - he wanted me to maintain a HR of ~ 145. It took a little adjustment maintaining my HR while still running, but I think I got the gist of it. No real exertion today - mostly just jogging and talking.
