Honda Elements no more after 2011!?

Oh Snap! No more Elements after 2011. I was considering one, but ran into reports about shrinking sales so decided against it. Other cons included back half-doors and low MPG (~25 HWY). Oh well, now it'll join the Pontiac Aztec in a better place...

And one more thing...

I couldn't resist! My eyes have been on the 11" MacBook Air. Bought it on Amazon.com for a sale price for $898 with free 2-day shipping and tax included (MSRP $999 + sale tax). Looking forward to the upgrade. It will replace my 14" iBook G4 which I got in 2004.

Palm Ball Stymies AuDs and SLPs

In the season finale, AuD and SLPs (2-2) lost to Shake yo Bacon by a final score of 10-3. Shake yo Bacon pitcher featured a palm ball (tossed underhand and palm down) effectively keeping AuDs and SLPs off balance at the plate. Most damge was taken in the bottom 1st inning with AuD and SLPs allowed 6 runs.

AuDs and SLPs limit slaughtering

Playing with only 4 girls and 4 guys, AuD and SLPs (2-1), limited damage against the fully rostered Ocho Cincos (2-1). In the end, Ocho Cincos outslugged AuDs and SLPs 18-10.

Notable Plays:

• Ben slammed 2 homeruns
• Katie played! Yay!
• Marc stretched a single into a double
• Krissy came out!
• Jessica was awesome as lead-off
• Stacy played solid D in the outfield
• Colin made contact and held down 2b
• Gary was 3 for 4, 2 Runs, 1 RBI...and committed 2 throwing errors =(

AuDs and SLPs Win Second Forfeited Game, but Lose in Scrimmage

AuDs & SLPs (2-0) notched their second win without even having to swing a bat or catch a ball. For the second week in a row the opposing team failed to have enough players to play a game. AuDs & SLPs gladly accepted Newman Cardinal's offer to play a scrimmage game. New Cardinals out-slugged AuD & SLPs 26-20. Pics courtesy of Katie R.
